Privacy Policy
Spingiro is a free web tool. This policy explains what data the site collects, how it uses it, and how you can control it. Plain English — no legalese where it can be avoided.
1. Data we collect
Analytics (Google Analytics 4). Aggregate, non-identifiable data — pages viewed, sessions, country, device type, and a few custom events (spin, share, customize) that help us understand which wheels people use. We do not collect names, emails, or account information through GA4.
localStorage. Your wheel preferences (theme, sounds on/off, volume, sound set) are stored on your device only. They never reach our server. Clearing your browser data removes them.
URL parameters. When you customize a wheel, the state is encoded into the URL so you can share it. We do not store these URLs server-side — the wheel reads them on load and that is the end of it.
Cookies set by Google (analytics + advertising). Listed in the Cookies Policy.
2. Data we do not collect
No accounts, no logins, no passwords.
No email addresses unless you choose to email us.
No real names tied to your usage of the wheel.
No cross-site tracking initiated by Spingiro itself (Google may set such cookies for its own ad personalization — see the Cookies Policy).
3. Google Analytics 4
We use GA4 to understand how many people use the site and which wheels are popular. GA4 sets cookies in your browser to count unique sessions. The IP address is collected by Google but truncated for analytics purposes per Google's default configuration.
You can opt out of GA4 by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on, by enabling "Do Not Track" / "Global Privacy Control" in your browser, or by declining cookies in our consent banner.
4. Google AdSense (when active)
When AdSense is active on the site, Google may set advertising cookies in your browser to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. Personalization can be disabled via Google's Ad Settings (g.co/adsettings) or via the consent banner.
AdSense is not yet active at the time of writing. This policy will be updated when it is.
5. Your rights
Under GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), and similar regimes, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you. Because Spingiro does not collect identifiable personal data, the practical effect is limited — there is nothing tied to your name in our systems.
For data Google holds about your visit (via GA4 / AdSense), you can exercise rights directly through Google: myaccount.google.com → Data & privacy.

6. Cookies

7. Children
Spingiro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data through the contact email, write to us and we will delete it.
8. International transfers
Data collected by Google Analytics and AdSense is processed by Google on its global infrastructure, which can span multiple countries. By using Spingiro, you consent to this processing under Google's standard contractual clauses and equivalent transfer mechanisms.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes (for example, when AdSense activates). Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. We recommend checking back periodically.
