Tarot Wheel — Spin a Random Major Arcana Card
A tarot wheel preloaded with the 22 Major Arcana cards. Spin for a quick daily card, a writing prompt, or a moment of reflection.
The Tarot Wheel draws a single card from the 22 Major Arcana — the trump cards that carry the densest symbolic weight in a tarot deck. The wheel does not replace a full reading or a trained reader; it’s a lightweight way to pull one card for journaling, daily reflection, or as a prompt for creative writing. The mono palette keeps the focus on the card name, not the colours.
How to use it
- Spin once to draw your card of the day.
- Use Elimination mode for a no-repeats spread across the week.
- Replace the names with reversed-meaning labels if you read reversed cards.
- Share the URL with a journaling partner so you both spin the same wheel.
Use cases
- Daily morning reflection — one card to sit with for the day.
- Writing prompts for a journal entry or short story.
- Tabletop RPGs: drawing inspiration for an NPC or scene.
- Group practice: each person spins and shares their reflection.
- Card-of-the-week ritual for solo journaling.
- Creative warm-up for designers and illustrators.
Frequently asked questions
Does this replace a real tarot reading?
No. A real reading uses the full 78-card deck, considers position and reversal, and benefits from a reader who can interpret context. The wheel is a lightweight prompt — a single draw for reflection or journaling.
Why only the Major Arcana?
The Major Arcana is the most archetypally rich subset of the deck — useful for daily reflection without needing to track suits, numbers, and court cards. You can add Minor Arcana entries if you want a full 78-card wheel.
Can I include reversed meanings?
Yes — duplicate each card and rename one as “The Fool (reversed)”. The wheel does not flip cards on its own; if you want it to, weight reversals lower than uprights.
Is the card draw random?
Yes — crypto-secure RNG, every card has exactly 1/22 (4.5%) probability of being drawn. Spin a hundred times and you’ll see the distribution flatten.
Can I save my daily draws?
The wheel itself does not log spins — that is intentional, to keep things private. Take a screenshot of the result modal or jot the card in your journal.
